Kermit Chair - Embroidery Question
« on: September 09, 2012, 12:49:07 AM »

Love my 2006 FLHTCUSE that I bought for my 50th BDay back in 06, but also love my 09 BMW R1200 GSA when I go to the other side.  So, I ride both with pride and have started taking either on longer trips as I can.  Recently purchased a Kermit chair for when I'm not hoteling it and am camping.  Like the CVO, I appreciate the opportunity to personalize  the chair and would like to embroid a white outline combo "bar & shield" logo, but with a BMW roundel to fit inside the middle of it onto the red seat back canvas.    Haven't tried a local embroidery shop yet but would think a one off custom outline of something like this might not be feasible.  Any ideas on how to get this done? I'm not too artsy/craftsy and would appreciate some left brain ( or is right?) advice. :nixweiss:

Get crayons or colored pencils and draw a picture of what you want. Take it to a sporting goods store or a bowling alley supplier. They embroider all the time for teams. If they can't help you thy might be able to direct you to someone else. You can also scan it and email it to Internet embroidery shops. Should not be a problem to do one.

You guys need to get out more  ;D  I believe kermit offers an embroidery service, you might check with them. Anyone with photo shop should be able to put the BM'R logo in the bar and shield for embroidery reference.
