After looking for two days at the RK... I'm disapointed to say the least. Don't like the hardbags and the speakers that come with them. Don't like the lowers and don't like having the black paint and chromed up then they stick a black motor in the mix. Was really hoping they would have gone just a little more old school with the set up. Windshield leaves a lot to be desired too.
I think I'll break the bad news to my dealer later today and wait.

And 34K+ for a black RG?

The sweetest looking one to me is the CVO Ultra in the Red and what looks like a navy blue.  Gotta see that one up close.  ::)

I guess I am in the minority.  I think all three colors for the CVO Road Glide are very good.

I think the Anniversary color is Great on all three CVO's, its very classy and looks much better than they did for the 105th.

I am trying hard to decide between the CVO Road Glide or CVO Road King in the Anniversary color.  I'm keeping my skunk.

I am telling you... ride in with the skunk and get both the RK and RGC CVOs... it is the only logical choice... ;D  :2vrolijk_21:

I would say the RG's are already growing on me. Not real happy with the paint lines on the fairing, the lower color goes up to high in my opinion (and I know everybody was waiting for my opinion). Do not care for the Ultra's, the tank and bags have one big flame? Or is that some kind of tribal something or another? I don't get the Ultra paint. The anniversary has much better paint lines, no flame.

Another year that I'm glad I grabbed my SERGU back in '11...

Aside from this year's CVO RG's, I'm pretty much over the hype..

I like the progress they're making with drawing in the young crowd - going bold with the metal flake paint options and adding another bike to the customization line (Street Bob) and keeping a non-touring bike in the CVO line (Breakout).  I think the Breakout has potential.

The touring bikes are bread and butter right now...I don't know why you all expect them to do something radical with them every year.  In the end, you still buy them once you see them in person!  I will say that I think the lowers on the RK CVO are a terrible aesthetic.  The whole appeal to the Road King is that it is a stripped-down touring bike.  And how long has it even been since the Classic (the foundation for the CVO) had hard bags (if ever)?!  Even the past Road King CVO's didn't have them, if I'm not mistaken.

Ah, I'm turned around.  I see they have gone back and forth on which bag they used for the 5 CVO years.  Shouldn't we all be happy about that?  I thought everyone hated the molded faux leather bags that the Classic and some past CVO RKs came with?

After looking at the pictures on the HD website, I am not impressed with the 2013's.  Some are nice, but none of them say "wow" for me.

Just in case someone hasn't found a link yet to the CVOs
http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US/Motorcycles/cvo.html

Same thoughts as you have No "WoW Factor there.
I actually like the three tone,Orange,Black & Siver, Standard RK Paint Scheme better.

I noticed that ME and NH Dealers were having a 2013 Demo this Saturday.
Most likely there will be one in your area.

Ho Hummmmm.  Not impressed... again.

The SEUC paint is.... well, they need to learn something new.  Can't believe they still want to put the junk hinges on a $37K bike.  And, why not put the extended bags and rear fender treatment on the SEUC????

I was kinda thinking about a RGC, but not real excited about them either.... not as pretty as the 09's.  And may get rocks thrown with this comment, but I just can't get excited about the speakers in the saddlebags.  Oh, and the wheels, come on.... of all the beautiful after-market wheels out there, can't HD do a little better with their wheel choices?

And BIG Flake metal flake?... I thought the Las Vegas barstool comment hit it right on the head.

Anyway, I am still pretty gun shy about the 110's.  Maybe next year???

I really like the Ultras, and anniversary bikes.  The breakout is actually pretty cool when you watch the video that motorcyclesusa.com did.  I'm impressed.

I noticed the non CVO RG now comes with an 18" front wheel (and I assume the other touring models do too- havent had the chance to check).

This is GREAT news for all us CVO owners with 18's, because now if the 18" is standard issue the the aftermarket tire mfg's now have a reason to finally produce this sized tire, which will finally give us alternate choices over the OEM D407/D408.
