Hmmmmm....not excited about the 2013s, SE Ultra has two OK colors.  Not impressed with the anniversary color at all....

Kind of glad I got my 2012 Orange inferno....

Still no liquid cooled....pulled into our hotel in NYC this Saturday about 5:15 PM, got off the scoot, unpacked the saddle bags & tour pack...went to start the scoot to put it in the garage, wouldn't start.....to hot from the ride in...took 20 minutes to cool off.....

HUGE YAWN. I looked at all of the 2013 Harleys, and I have to say that I am not in the least impressed with any of them. I have never liked any of the CVO Softails since the bright yellow CVO Softail Springer, and I don't like the Breakout very much... although it is better looking than the Convertible... I never liked that little micro-fairing/windshield on the Convertible.

I don't like any of the 2013 CVO graphics at all... they all seem like uninspired afterthoughts by a low-cost paint shop. Even the Candy Orange on the SERGC is marginal at best... not at all breathtaking like the 2012 SESG Hot Citrus or Ruby Red; or the 2012 SERG Skunk, Cobalt, or Maple Metallic; or the 2012 SEUC Harley Orange or Yellow over the Black/Gray.

The 2012 CVO colors and graphics were MUCH better, I think. I'm SO glad I bought the Honey Badger last year!

I couldn't agree more with Ken  :2vrolijk_21:  Last year the MOCO hit it out of the ballpark with their CVO color's but this year I'm not seeing any touring models that are home runs  :-\. Maybe once I see them on the showroom floor I will change my opinion.  :P

I think the Ultra should have come with speakers in the lowers and on the bag lids. Only color on the
Ultra I like is the orange. On the plus side the price did not go up much.

Shoulda put lowers and speakers on the Road Glide and the only color I like on it is the anniversary
color. I don't think that LED headlights, speakers in the bag lids, and a Windspliter windshield are worth
the 2300.00 bump in price.

I like the Breakout in red. It's cool, just not for me.

I really like the Road King. The shaved front fender and 19 inch front wheel look good and I like the
chrome engine better than the black. The Blue and the Red colors look good can't wait to see how
much better they look in person. Windshield would be the first to go. It's just ugly!!!!

I remember this time last year when I first saw the 2012 CVO SG. Immediately fell in love with the Citrus & Gunstock.

This year I really didn't see anything that bowled me over. Was interested in seeing the CVO Road King until I saw that windshield. Don't know, I just can't get over that big old vent in the center. Plus those of us with the speakers in the lowers and saddle bags already know how disappointed those who buy the CVO RK will be with sound going down the road. I do kind of like how the Breakout looks though.

Not a big fan of the metal flake. Like someone said earlier looks better on a bass boat than a motorcycle.

Anyway as far as the 2013's go I'm so glad I purchased my 2012 CVO SG when I did. She was my dream bike a year ago and now she's the dream I ride every day.  :2vrolijk_21:

And finally, the best quote I have read about the 2013's,

I like how they hid the radiator. I cannot even see it in the pictures.

I,m so glad I lucked into a 2009 cvo ultra 11,750 miles new rear tire ,ruby red $24,500 great condition ... I find myself wanting to ride my 09 cvo roadglide and 09 cvo ultra more than any other bike, Both set up the same Cam,fulsac, Dyno tuned (Thanks JIM) both bikes run strong and fun to ride..I do get on 103,s and bounce around turns going 40 over the speed limit . 103,s are strong as well(thanks Jim) but a little more work to ride , not as much effortless grunt as the 110,s.  So in closing 09 and up 110,s are a great buy 2013 ann.color is great but not worth the extra 20k plus.....Won,t be riding for 10 days off to Paris..congrats to all who snap off a 2013.     AK
