Hey Tex,
Try to come up with something origional, I tell jokes that some find funny, some think they suck however most have always been me. Please stop these posts that we've all seen before in an apparent push to get your post count go up................Just sayin". Try to stay off the  WWW. for a bit and see if you are that funny?  or do you just post the same stuff, from the same site ALL the time........

BTW, Do you remember the Camel toe/Moose Knuckel debate a few years ago?????

I made that,  Obama didn't build that....I did. (No discussion).

About 18 months later, it came back around.........and it was funny!

That's the point, make it funny, make a play on words, make a statement that works for you!! You have a great website (CVO Harley.com) that you have been tapping for some time, for stuff that just isn"t funny anymore. You are on a Humor board that you make specialize in cartoons (OK, just found on the web).  OK, I get it but I don't watch cartoons! Do something funny for us rather than just repucking what is on the web.

Best,
 M

Why do you think I said the first thing I do is click "mark read" on the Humor section each and every time I come back to the site to read new posts.  Usually cuts down on at least a half page of nonsense I'd otherwise have to weed through.  ::)

You always have the option of not opening them, contrary to your opinion some of us happen to enjoy the stuff he puts up.

I think all the moderator spots are full at the moment.... Looks like you'll be SOL on this one!

I am recovering from Lung Cancer surgery (I had part of a lung removed) so yes I have been spending a lot of time on the internet while I'm trying to stay alive.

Sorry if I try to bring some humor to this site. As my life is kinda sucking right now.
I did post them under the "Humor" thread (which apparently you are lacking)......and I could give a Ratz Azz about my post count.

Tex,

I and I'm sure many of us have enjoyed many of your posts.  Few posts in the humor section are original.  No joke is funny to everyone.  If you post, there will always be someone who doesn't like it.  As long as you're not trying to be offensive, who cares?  As far as I know, there is no such thing as an excessive joking penalty.  I wish you the best for your recovery.

Beagle,

Someone mentioned yesterday that there are 18000 members here and we all come here to enjoy the brotherhood  shown on the site because there are no stupid questions that will be laughed at or putting people down to make one's self feel good about themselves. What Tex does is in an effort to lighten your day and enhance the board and he should continue as long as he feels that he is doing so.

I have noticed that this is the second time that you have ranted on someone here in the last couple weeks, referring to welcome posts. You need to lighten up, read what you want and leave the rest, live is too short, my friend...

I'm with the Beag's for the most part.  I don't mind the joke being posted but it sure ticks me off every time somebody posts a smiley response.  Is that really necessary????  Just read the joke, laugh, and move on.  That's my opinion and I think I'm entitled to it so no flaming necessary.  And yes I am aware of how to mark it "read"

Have a great day.

Hey Tex, I will put you on the prayer list.

Lung cancer is not funny.....however, most of what you post in the humor section IS!!!! I get a kick out of the one's I read and the one's I don't, somebody else will get a kick out of.  And Beagle, as for the  :) , why have them so available if we aren't suppose to utilize them.....

Hey, we all ride a great bike that (most) of the time runs as it should and looks better than EVERYTHING else on the road....can't we just all get along on that alone?  I enjoy all of the site I read but don't read everything.

Anyway, I really like the dancing bananna....... :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock:

Too much humor is like having too much money.

As a punishment Texas Fat Boy should try to increase his Post Count by 1000 before this time next year!

I would prefer 500 repeated jokes versus 1 dumb-azz Political Comment others post on the site in violation of the rules.

I think there are more serious problems in my life than this. Like making sure the bathroom trash is emptied at least once a week!

I was really jazzed when i joined the site but got my tender little feelings bruised and backed out, reading more than posting. I visit the humor section 50:1 over the other ones. I don't care who posts a joke and love most of them. I don't know how many times in the last two months that the humor section was the only thing that gave me a laugh that day. Been a little tough at work lately and the weather has limited my riding time.

Oh the other thing limiting my participation is that i I have put all the crap on my bikes that I possible can. Don't really need a new one either.

I personally enjoy reading the jokes, even the ones I have read before. having the internet, things seem to migrate around every few years.
no big deal, just enjoy them when they are there. time for a dance squad.

Best wishes to you Tex, and Beagle I say lighten up. I always look at Tex's humor posts, some are funny, some are corny, some make me think I'm out of touch but all entertainment is like that isn't it? Never mind what some up-tights say about what you do with your time. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a full recovery. In the meantime keep doing what you do because some of us, yours truly included, don't have time to dig that stuff up so it's all original to me!

I really like and appreciate most of TFB's posts.  I hope he keeps up the good work, and has a speedy recovery.  Plus, he has a badass bike; if it were hot citrus orange,  :orange: :orange: it would be perfect.  ;)

As a survivor of The Big C, best wishes, hang tough, and prayers for your quick recovery, Tex.

As to the rest of it, once upon a time on this board there were Polls about Poles, Pie,  and other such nonsense, but not any more, due to Global Warming or the Metric System or maybe it was something else.  That has nothing to do with the discussion here except to say - on this board some like stuff, some do not, and some use Magic Erasers if they have one.

What I would do, iI were you, well then my name would be Texas Fat Boy, and that would be confusing.

For the record I'd just like to say the the metric system had nothing to do with it, those of us in Canada who have small stuff are happy to provide our signifant others with our measurements in millimeters cause it makes us sound freakin massive... Dear, my chit is 600 mm long (about 3 inches)...

It's not very often one member executes a personal attack on another, especially when the target has only ever intended on cheering up the balance of the group (I only assume that cause honestly Dude I can't recall you ever posting anything but jokes!).

I thought in the past that it was inappropriate to exploit illness, but how appropriate for TexasFatBoy to disclose to his accuser and us that he has been using the board as therapy, if in proclaiming your pride in making some of us chuckle helps you in your struggle to get your feet back on the ground then God bless you.

There is no greater gift than joy and positivity passed on from family and friends, more so when it comes from a stranger.

My profession has led me to be a bit of an Internet freak, I can say with complete conviction that I have never seen any of the posts you have submitted, nor would I be able to dedicate the time to find them. You are a valued contributor here and as you have seen the majority of us not only appriciate your input but have committed time to pray for your recovery!

TEX,
I found both of these pics on the web a long time ago,  I put them together and posted them here on CVO, apparently it went viral.  Click the link and you will finally see the difference between a Camel toe and a Moose Knuckle. Like I said before,  I posted it here several years ago (I once had a good friend from Maine that insisted that a Camel toe and a Moose knuckle were the same.............I beg to differ).  You decide.
