Riders back rest for stock seat

I thought I saw a post where someone had their stock seat modified to accept some type of back rest. I like the seat but I need the back support and the way the pillion comes off. Any help would be appreciated

I, too liked that seat set-up. Maybe we could just ship our seats off to 'his guy' and have them come back done up.???

I have posted this several times. Call Seth at Auto Originals in Farmington NM at 505-327-1078
He can make this happen for you. Several people from this site have used him and as far as I know no complaints.

Can you use the riders seat solo with the backrest? Does the backrest mount into the riders seat or is there a bracket it slides into on the frame?

Very nice, that is exactly what I want done for my 2013 CVO Road King.

How did he make that back rest pad for the driver?  Did he just modify a rear passenger back rest?

You can run it with out the passenger pillion also correct?

The back rest is mounted to a frame that he attaches to the bottom of the riders seat so you can run solo or with the pillon. The pillon has to be cut a little to clear the back rest. The back rest has quit a bit of addjustment (up or down as well as back and forth). He made my back rest from scratch but I have seen several SESG send the passenger back rest to him and he makes it the rider back rest. The SERG does not come with a passenger back rest so I bought one stock pad and had it all recovered with the same stich so it all matches. Give Seth a call and he can tell you all that he can do and for how much.
