How much less performance do you think this cam would have if it was installed with the stock comp.?

A ton.
If staying with the OE compression ratio,(9.2 cr) a Wood 555, wants MUCH more than that, to have the ability to be fully effective.(10.35 cr)
In the Wood line-up, the 222 would be a good choice.

Am I missing something here guys. This is a 6th gear dyno read.   HP  and TQ are always higher if you use 6th..Lets see the 4th gear read...

So , if you had a bike with a 5 speed gearbox , you would do your pull in 4th gear ?

By rights, you should not be using the mechanical leverage of the gearbox in either direction.
1:1 ratio is where you should be.

1:1 on a stock Hd gear box is high gear. So a 5 speed it would be 5th and 6 speed 6th. Due to the fact that the bikes will not run the MPH on the dyno typically most people drop back one gear to make the pulls.

Here is the explanation I got from a well experience Dyno Tech, Just for info.
"The deal with what gear to run was started in 4th gear when the evo's were around and stock, they could not pull 5th (1:1) gear, and the touring bikes would go faster in 4th than 5th.
When the TC came out with more torque, it could pull 5th. So 5th (1:1)  was correct, until the 6 speed direct drive (1:1) came along. Now, if the engine has enough torque to pull the overall higher ratio but still in 1:1, that becomes the gear to use, however if the engine is bone stock, 6th is usually too tall for the same reason that the evo 5th was to tall.  All tuners are doing is trying to tune using the gear with the least loss through the transmission, whether it's 5th or 6th. Which ever is the direct drive of 1:1. Power readings recorded in fifth gear are usually higher than those in fourth due to loss of power transfer in the gear box."  Wood cams power readings are done in 6th.
Take it for what you want???

I got all the dyno time I need, to have posted what I did, as we've had one since the mid-1990's.
My words were from experience, not a google search.
1:1 ratio is the method we use, and that is what Dynojet actually trained us to use as well.........about 17 years ago. :)

OK

I've got the picture .

If you want a dyno sheet you can use for comparison then 1:1 is the standard in the same way that SAE is used so that we are comparing apples to apples .
So usually 5th gear in 5 speed , 6th speed in 6 speed unless its overdrive and then 5th speed.

If you were doing a dyno for tuning purposes only and not comparison then you might want a bit more leverage to look at the profile ?

Usually results in a "spark count" of between 43-47, generally.
