Cosmetic surgery and a Pace Maker, dyno added
« on: November 29, 2012, 11:04:18 AM »

My bike is in the shop for some warranty work (misc. stuff from delivery) and the weather here has not been conducive for riding.  So while it is in there, I decided to have a few things done:  Ness Smooth Hot legs, PM Merc sliders, Progressive mono tubes, Andrews 57h and a tune-  I also have some brake calipers at the powder coater's which will be installed later this week.  I am having the calipers PC'd a copper color with a gold flake clear.  The bike goes on the dyno today, so my tech put the original calipers back on until mine come in-  Here is a teaser photo he sent me of the front forks.

I had the HD Premium double cartridge installed on my last bike, and I thought they rode pretty well.  It'll be interesting to see how they compare to the progressives.  The reason I went Progressive this time is my dealer had them, and cut me a pretty sweet deal on them, so I figured I would try them-

I will get a few more photos loaded when I get down to the shop later this week-  I will also get a dyno sheet posted, in case anyone is curious as to how the 57's do-

Really changed the look of the front end of the bike...like it and great job.  Can't wait to see the calipers installed, too.  Good return on the investment.

I dropped the calipers off last night, they should get installed today.  Bike is scheduled to go on the dyno tomorrow.  I'll post some pics and dyno over the weekend.

I had the bike on the dyno today- My tuner just sent me a pic of my dyno sheet-  Agitator AC, Fullsac Sportpipe, V&H HOs and Andrews 57h we SE adjustable PushRods.  I haven't ridden it yet, as they just finished about an hour or so ago-  He said it rides nice and smooth-  I'll pick it up next week and let everyone know what I think of it-

Very nice looking curve, no dips.  Looks like a smooth ride, and power down low where you want it.

Very nice numbers, I had my 13 CVO RK dyno'd recently after doing a full sac header and some rineharts and I got 94 HP and 114 of twist. My bike also only has 250 miles on it. Thanks for posting that!! Mike

I finally got the bike home, still have not ridden it due to the weather-  Pic quality is not the best, as they were taken in my garage under poor light and with my iphone-  but i am sure you will get the idea-  color on the calipers came out pretty close.

That is looking very nice, like the calipers, and really like the seat.  That a mustang day tripper with backrest?  How do you like it?

Pretty nice looking torque curve, no dips.

The seat is the Mustang Wide Tripper w/ diamond stich and backrest. I haven't ridden on it yet, but sitting on it in the garage, I think it sits just a tad lower than the stocker.  Fox Creek makes a small (7") windshield bag in matching color. The brown truck just dropped it off today. So I'll get it on in the next day or so......
