Just picked up a 213 CVO RK the dealer lost the cvo manual and ordered one. My question is on the right handle bar switch group there is a switch up down and mode. I take it that is used to control the Ipod. It is not working Is there some set up on the Ipod or... Thanks

had the ipod hooked up on the 13' RK on all works well...left side is for volume control and pushing in the button shuts the ipod off....right side up and down changes the song selection...

Turn the volume on the IPOD to max and with the IPOD on, plug it in to the harness.

If you haven't already, register on harley's Web Page and enter your bike data in the profile. You'll be able to look at sections of the owner's manual on-line.

Is there any way to control bass, treble, fade, or balance?  The dealer had no clue. I'm guessing not. I'm picking mine up next week.

Might be able from the iPod settings.

I loaded the Nano full of music from my iTunes. When I plugged it into the bike, it worked without any setup. Test yours by plugging any player into the bike audio jack to see if the system is working. The left switch controls volume and on/off. Try another iPod in the Apple connector to see if that works. Don't ride with a disc based iPod, as you can damage the hard drive. Test the Nano using headphones directly into the Nano jack with the iPod disconnected from the bike.

Yes all controlled from the iPod. I don't recall any way to fade it but scroll thru the options in the iPod is change bass treble ect...

I have tried everything mentioned and still not working to get it to change songs. The manual says there is nothing you have to do just plug and play. Anyone have the dealer replace anything to make it work.

Are you using the nano that comes with the bike?   I ride a flhtcuse8 and the manual stated something about some of the older I pods would not work with the system.

The switch on the right handle bar up, down will skip on song in either direction. 

It is not near as functional as the one on my 12 CVO road glide.  However it is nice to have tunes on DaKing.  I just have about 6 play lists with 50 songs each.  I select the play list I want on the Ipod then plug it in.
