All set, she comes home Saturday morning!
« on: December 13, 2012, 09:38:18 AM »

Finally finished the deal, I swap bikes on Saturday!  Phantom harley is the dealer I bought from and I am truly impressed at the level of professionalism here.  Nick, the service manager, did everything to make my bike perfect.  The salesman Wiz was not pushy at all and just made the deal as easy as can be.  They are owned by a bigger dealer, but this place gives the smaller, mom and pop shop feel.  So....thank you Phantom Harley, George (the owner), Wiz, and Nick.

I took this bad bitch for a test ride....man is it torquey!  I can wait to break in the Breakout!

On a side not, the black has a metallic flake that I didn't notice the first time!

Torque monster is right, Nicky.  I think the bike would look better with the pillion removed to show more of the fender, but that's the only thing the keeps me on the freakin' bike after virtually every gear change   :P

Taking delivery on a CVO is a very special thing.....

Nicky,  In your pictures I noticed the normal caution/"use only"/idiot DOT stickers but there's one the front fender.  Is that something having to do with the metal finish preparation/cleaning or what?  Just curious... :nixweiss:

Ok, now what about those pipes??  This is my only fault with the Breakouts- weakest OEM pipes I have ever heard on a Harley (and that's saying somethng).

It says something about the paint, there is a part number on it and it says that you have to use it on the polished metal parts if the chip or scratch penetrates the clear coat.
