just fitted the backrest and rack - looks Ok but the pad is a bit darker brown than the seat anyone else had this I have checked an its the correct part number

I will be ordering mine shortly, guessing there is some variation between pads, but what can we do-I guess we could buy and keep returning until the shade is closer, but that could take forever, and you obviously can't use a black pad unless you switched out the seat.  But that would take away from the bike of course.  so, nothing to do basically-either accept it or run without the sissy bar.  By the way, noticed that your mirrors are different from ours here in the US- did you put those mirrors on or did they come stock?

mirrors are the same in australia, on all cvo,s apparently the  US ones do not comply with our regulations

I have the backrest and the saddle bags. I also noticed the backrest to be a bit darker than the bags.

I guess if it looks too bad on the bike I will return it for a replacement one hopefully closer to the colour.

Yes the mirrors are standard in the UK plus we have to suffer the crap number plate mounting on the rear fender.

Just put my "red/brown" sissy bar pad on and it is also darker than my seat, so I am guessing that pretty much all of them produced are that way.

No but I'm guessing it will be black... Hehe

Shouldn't have any issues with the black one as it would be easy to match compared to the red brown hide.
