Paint Care on the Breakout

Are there any special care requirements for the paint on the Breakout?

No.  The only "special care" paint are the denim paint jobs in the HD lineup.

In the spring, I'm going to buff the paint very mildly and put a couple of coats of S100 wax on.  I waxed my daily driver with 2 coats of S100 and I am still amazed at how good the paint looks.

Use Glare Pro Polish and you will seal and protect the paint better than any wax product.  A bottle of it lasts a REALLY long time...like years, if you only do your bike(s).  A little goes a long way.

I remember the '09/'10 CVO Softail had this really exotic finish on the tins and they had stickers all over the bike explaining how to care for it.

Ours is straight clear coat.

I have a Griot's random orbital buffer with a 3" head and pads....it's perfect for buffing/polishing my tins.  I use Menzerna polishing products.  For a wax......Pinnacle Souveran.....Nothing shines like Souveran....oh my.....especially if you have red or black....
