Finally got to ride.

51 degrees outside and actually wasn't bad with a Carhart jacket on. Only second time I've been able to ride and upto about 75 miles now. Definitely a very smooth ride. Only problem I had was my speedo was changed to km/h instead of mp/h. So I have no idea how fast I was going. Guess I need to fix that before the next nice day.

Nice, I assume you are in Texas right now and not Casper, WY(if it was 51 degrees in Casper today, i think all arguments over whether global warming exists would be put to rest !)

There are so many fancy settings with the speedo, I think would have to consult the owners manual to figure out how to get it out of km per hour mode....

that amber lighting in low light is pretty slick...

Actually I'm in Casper, WY. Work up here but Texas is home. It was really nice out, just too windy for my liking. Its supposed to be 77 down in Texas this week and I'm regretting not being down there with my breakout. Hopefully it will be nice when I go down in a couple of weeks and I can ride my dad's dyna.

funny.  just multiply by.6 and you'll be close.

70km = 42

80km = 56

you get it.

Love that part of the country.  Once a year my wife and I trailer the bikes out to ride around South Dakota and Wyoming.  Love riding the BigHorn mountains over into Lovell....great country....truly no one around for miles and miles.....

I think we should get all available Breakout owners and ride into Sturgis in a pack.
