Randy is back home, but is having to go in for dialysis several times a week. i spoke with him yesterday and he was just about ready to go back home. Says the dialysis was tiring and that he felt worse the day after then he starts to feel better.

I talked to Marlene today, Randy was in the hospital having stents implanted. ( I think that's what they do with stents. ) She said all went well and he should be released tomorrow.

Spoke to Randy two weeks ago, he is struggling with the dialasis...is trying to get on the list for kidney replacement, hope he gets one...

Found out Kenny C has cancer, just finishing up treatments.....

UPDATE

Just talked to Randy. He is having open heart surgery on Thursday of next week. He goes into the hospital Tuesday and they will operate on Thursday. The stents aren't doing the job and he has a good bit of pain. He contracted a rare blood infection this summer but he overcame that.
Please lift Randy up in prayer and don't forget Marlene as she is going through this with Randy.
Randy hang in there bud, prayers are on the way.

The surgery is tomorrow morning at 6:30 am. Doc has said it will likely take all day. He went up to the hospital yesterday so that could give him a dialysis treatment today. The nurse showed up an hour late, seems they had someone needing emergency dialysis, and Randy was giving her a hard time last I heard. At least we know that he was acting normal LOLOL.

I have been back on the weight loss deal and have been drinking, and loving, crystal light peach mango green tea. Might have to organize a run down to SC, to get Mikey to demonstrate how to manufacture it. Shouldn't be too hard to find the "plant" , near as i can tell there ain't but two hollers in SC.

He's not quite that far along yet.

He is still in the intensive care unit at the hospital. They expect to move him to a regular room soon, possibly this evening.

Kathy and I stopped by Wednesday evening to check in on ole Otis. I had been staying in touch with Shrader on Otis's condition while up in the mountains. Shrader, Susan, Kenny and his wife another friend of theirs who's name I can not remember...but was there to fix the toilet that Otis said was wobbling when he sat on it, and Otis's sweet wife Marlene sat around in the living room and you could tell as time went on that Otis's demeanor was improving. He sat up high in his chair telling motorcycle stories and for 4 hours he told stories without the aid of any oxygen. He was also walking without the aid of a walker.

The Ole Boy is getting better every day. Still need to keep him in our prayers

I can still sleep 12 hours since my surgery every several days or so
My body is telling me to take it easy.
Listen to what your body wants to do.
Push hard when you can, then rest some.

Kathy and I visited Randy and Marlene on Sunday. Kenny, Shrader and Susan came over for a visit. We watched the first 2 hours of the NASCAR race.
Randy had been on the go for the past few days and he looked tired. Once we all started talking about motorcycles he again lost his oxygen, sat up in the chair and had many tales to tell.

Monday he had another doctors appt with the Cardiologist. Randy has recovered from his chest being split open, but he still does not have feeling in his hands. He wants so much to be in his garage working on the cycles out there.
