Daymaker LED s review
« on: February 15, 2013, 08:59:13 PM »

Just installed the DAYMAKER LED s  on my 2012 FLTRXSE.  WOW,  what a difference. It's like a BIG Improvement and worth the $$ to me. $ 599.94 ( 15 % off at my local dealer , I.B.E.W. discount) and $ 147.00 at BARB s  H-D  to install. Highly Recommend these!!!

Am I the only one who thinks $150 labor to install a headlight is a bit out there?

I sure wouldn't pay that.  It is too easy to do yourself.

Some may not be comfortable Greg; and that's fine.  But it'd bite to spend that much for a half hour's work.  Most important of course is that the owner likes the outcome.  That's still a lot of beer money though.

2 k  is right, buy the stealer installing them, if any things happens it will still be under warranty( which I have alot of time left) .  And I was told  it takes about 1-1.5 hours to do ,by them time take off fairing,  removing old ones , drilling out the holes for mounting new LEDs,wiring, reassembling, and aiming new LEDs. It doesn't  sound like a half hour job to me.

But they look nice :)

Can understand paying the labor fee if the intent is getting the product included in the original warranty.  I count so little on the MoCo, the dealer network and their warranty handling that's an angle I forget.

ANY ANGLE, any reason the MoCo  can find NOT to pay on a warranty, you got that right !!

Much better, a wider and longer beam, much more natural light, expensive, but your putting it on a CVO not a Honda so what the hell!
