Gotta be honest JC... not even close. Hate to say it but only confirmed I made the right choice. :)

Think I already knew the answer to that question but had to ask.

Hey, we miss your ride reports......where you been lately (besides the top of a volcano)?

Glad you had a good time Chuck... sorry I wasnt able to see you on your visit.

I'm glad Haleakala is a dormant volcano and not active like the Big Island of Hawai'i. The thought of not knowing if your house is going to be there when you get home from work is not a good thought.

At any rate: The 20th Annual Hawaii State HOG Rally returns to Maui again this year, for more fun and great rides.

Well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words soooooooo...  here's a look at the last year in one photo. :)

I double clicked the link at the bottom and it enlarged full page.  I actually recognize many of those places and I think I've been to a few of those locations with you, before.  :2vrolijk_21:

I hope you took that picture and had it framed.  You'll have to tell us how you did it?

By the way.....going in March to take some photography classes from Gail DeMarco.  She's the photographer that shot all the photos in that hardback Harley book that I'm in, Rebels With a Cause.  Real excited about taking classes from her....her portrait skills are  about as good as they get!  ;D   She's moved from the bay area and opened a studio here in Sacramento and another in Folsom.

Fantastic Video! The first time up that Vocano for me was in August 1976! Driving a Rented Ford Maverick! On our Honeymoon...Killed the transmission on the way..but still had a blast..in fact if I recall the "fine print" on the rental agreement Excluded the Volcano and the drive to Hana!

Ride safe..Keep enjoying..

Peace
