Thanks Inferno but I'm the middle man!!  Puzzled is the dealer in all this.

He has a few ordered.  Our 23's will be in on the 12th or March.

Puzzled has a few 21's ordered that are not spoken for.  6 week turnaround.

They are off just a touch but this is as close as it gets!

Mike, those 21 and 23 agitator wheels look pretty dang close in the pictures.

I am pretty sure a 21 could be run with nothing more than lower the front an inch, and maybe a slight tilt of the stock front fender.

I think from what I read Pickard makes a triple tree so you can run a 23 with out cutting the neck. 

I would love to do the 23 on my 13 CVO Anniversary King.  I want to hear some reports of how well they handle with this set up.  I have a done some work on the motor in the bike. 

I do not want to loose handling as I live in East TN, the Smoky's and the Dragon are my back yard.  I know I loose nothing the a properly set up 21 as I have that on my fatboy.

What are your thoughts, would I loose handling with the 23 over a 21?

Puzzled and I will have the Pickard set up with a 23.  I am sure Puzzled will have a great ride report when finished as will I.  Puzzled rides alot more aggressive than I do so his report may be better.

Hope to have these done by the end of March, just in time for the riding season.

Tricky Trees also make a 9 deg tree for no cutting. Very good quality. Not saying they are any better than Pickard, just seems to help me when I have more than one source.

I still own two street Buell's that will get me through the corners plenty quick!

I am a bit tight on Cash after doing the motor build.  So by fall I should have money needed for the next step.  From the sounds of things you will have had plenty of ride time on the 23.  I will look for a report on it to make the decision.

I know a 21 works well, have one on my fatboy.  However I ride the CVO King more aggressively in the corners, maybe even a little more aggressively than the road glide.  The King is my bike for the day trips into the smoky's and the Dragon and so on.

Tricky Trees also make a 9 deg tree for no cutting. Very good quality. Not saying they are any better than Pickard, just seems to help me when I have more than one source.

Nothing against Tricky but Pickard is top notch and well respected over on choppedbaggers where all the guys are doing custom scoots so I gotta go +1 pickard

I rode the Street Glide in my picture all through Sturgis and it handled way better than the 21 I had on it previously. Never gonna be like stock but the 23 is way closer. I will say though, I cut and raked the frame with HHI kit and triple trees to maintain the proper rake and trail as stock.
I have seen the bikes with 23" wheels and just trees and to me they look crooked. The wheel is way to close with the fender to the engine and the forks look bent. It will also raise the bike considerably this way more so than having the neck cut and re- welded with the HHI neck kit. It was very easy to do but you do have to do some body work and grind the welds and build it up. Just my 2 cents..Leave your CVO alone, Buy a 3 year old StreetGlide and cut and rake it and put your 23 026" wheel and ride its the new Chopper.

I have been selling them as a package, wheel, abs hub, 2 rotors, 2 sets rotor bolts, tire, shipped.

The 2 23" wheels showed up yesterday, very nice wheel. The rotors match unlike the stock rotors.

No caliper change or suspension change.

On the non CVO Road Glides (standard FL fender) the 21" bolts right under. On the CVO Road Glides fender spacers are needed to lift the fender.

Let me clarify, the rotors from my 13 won't work on the hub, the rotors from my 01 will. I don't know what year Harley changed to the large diameter bolt pattern. With that said I don't why someone would run rotors that don't match the wheel when buying aftermarket (I understand in an some situations you do what you have to do).

I was wondering the same thing.  After joining this site just now (Hi everyone!  ) I was able to see some more pics.  It looks like it is not the 7 Sins.  The 7 Sins and Agitator have spokes that seem to stay the same thickness from axle to tire.  While this wheel seems to get a bit wider as it goes out to the tire.  This wheel and the 7 Sins do seem to be the same as the spoke meets the outer rim by the tire.  This and the 7 Sins both seem to indent into the rim while the Agitator spokes seem to bump out a bit.  Guess a wheel company can only get so close b4 Harley sues.  Sure wish Harley would make the 21" Agitator as I think it would cost a lot less.  Seems so strange to say as much as we bitch about everything Harley always costing so much but their wheels really do seem to cost less.

Everybody loves a good deal and to save a buck.

Most of us pay a lot of attention to the details as well and want everything perfect.  Neither this or the 7 Sins is an exact match to the rear Agitator.  So you buy a rear wheel and do it right, and you just doubled that 2-3K number you threw out.

What is wrong with wishing that Harley made the Agitator in a 21?  If Harley made a 21 it would match perfectly and save thousands.  If you wouldn't like to keep thousands in your pocket you can give me some.  Happy to help. 

If the Harley wheel is "CHEAP" compared to aftermarket wheels does that mean it is not good?  Your words...

The company cutting this wheel won't cut you a rear wheel, I've already inquired. They will only cut non HD sizes. This wheel was cut to be as close as possible without getting into a 3D blank which would cost way more than it is worth. The HD wheel is cast thus the 3D spokes.

Thank you so much for the excellent and concise response.  Cast Vrs. Forged, custom, reason for it not being a 3D cut, and that this company will only make non-HD sizes.  Possibly most interesting is that you are selling 23's 4 times as much.  I can't wrap my head around the idea of putting a 23 on my ride.

I agree a 23" is not for everyone just as the even larger sizes aren't. For me the 23" with Pickard trees was the look I was after.

I feel like a drug dealer as the guys stop by the shop and check my 23" out, take it for a spin than come back and order their own. I give them a taste then they are hooked! LOL

Don't get me wrong.  The 23's are beautiful.    Looks-wise I'd definitely rather a 23" than a 21".  If all I did was ride around town or a few towns away I'd probably get a 23".  I want to maintain full touring ability though.  I need to be able to load her down, put the old lady on the back and go for a 12 hour ride.  Like you said, 23's aren't for everyone.

I've never looked at the load rating on a 23", maybe I should.  Outside of that I haven't found any limitations.

I like the way the bike rides with the TP and a BSR. I can scare the bejesus out of the BSR going through the corners. A few sparks at night from the boards gets me a kidney shot....

talked to guy at ride wright booth today at Corbns in hollister. He told me they not offer a chromed 21 or 23 7sins. It is polished alluiminum on the spokes and black around the ring. He told me they had issues with chrome flaking off and is why they do te polish/black

For comparison purposes only:

The Renegade is a much closer match to stock than the Sin7. RW from what I saw only offered a one piece polished rotor, no 2 piece chrome floating rotors. RW has a 6 month chrome warranty as opposed to Renegade's 2 year chrome warranty. It looks like pricing is similar with the RW coming in at $70.00 less. Me personally I'd pay the $70 and get four times the chrome warranty, 2 piece floating chrome rotors with a closer matching wheel. Just sayin'.......

Yes, you can order the wheel with a hub to accept OEM rotors. It has been a little slow going however they finally completed the 7 bolt hub. I have two Phantom cut 23" wheels shipping here shortly with the 7 bolt hub that will use OEM rotors.

I have two One 21" wheel and one 26" wheel in chrome ready to ship.
