So I called just to see, and the guy tells me they'll ship in late April or early May!!!!  WTF!!

Not really thrilled with V/H right now. I should be at 1000 miles within a week or two. Ready to do some upgrades but they don't have them ready to go. Might be time to look at other options.

I talked to a guy that said he can make the current v/h pipes work, which we know can be done since several on here have already done it. However, the way V/H is approaching this makes me want to punch a kitten!

Here is V/H response to someone asking if they were going to be offering different options for the breakout:

Vance & Hines Thanks, Edward, yes, we are looking into expanding the offering. But currently we have the Twin Slash 3" slip-ons and Big Radius 2-2. Do you already own a Breakout or just planning your purchase?

My responses to V/H:

1) I have one and already hit engine break in. Ready to put pipes and tuner on now.

2) Currently have Big Radius 2-2? Please be factual in your statements! According to your customer support they will not be shipping until end of April or early May. Not very current.

It appears that V/H are asleep at the wheel!  My bike arrives in April.  I will have the bike past the break-in mileage on the ride from the port to my house the first day!  They need to get it together or lose business!

I may find some "gently used" slip ons to use until I can get something out of Rinehart about the Cross Backs.

Exactly what I'm doing! V&H straightshot slip ons, Crossbacks when they are available.
