What works well on the non leather saddles? On the CVO RG outside the leather inlay is that vinyl?

Any product that you feel works well on leather, will equally work well on vinyl. I use Lexol but there are a ton of products out there.

Thanks COR. I seen a booth where they were selling cleaning products, he told me Mothers leather care was the best he has seen and he was selling someone else's product! Thanks again........happy ridin!

For non-leather, I don't think it makes much of a difference.  I've used leather care, Armour All, etc.

Been using Aerospace 303 on vinyl and leather seats for years.  No silicone.  Just good UV protection and dust resistance.  Keeps it soft without the silly shinyness other products can give your seat.
Do the research.  You'll be convinced, too.

For vinyl, nothing. It's plastic. Just rinse with water. Cheapest material out there.

Pledge

Pledge is oil based, for a good reason due to what it is for. I wouldn't use it on something I sit on as the oil will slowly weep back out in the sun/heat. Don't believe me, sit a old end table in sun, see what happens. And oil is slick.
To many good products from automotive industry to use a home care product, for me. IMHO. I know  alot of folks on here use it, not sure why and I am sure they will tell me in this thread, but not me ever.

I live in Texas now, Fla for the past 15 years, pledge is good for everything. Reason #1 it works #2 its cheap #3 nothing like a lemony fresh scented Harley Gleaming in the sun.

I disagree, Pledge is not good for anything except antique furniture, definitely not your modern day furniture. Wood furniture, what it is designed for, was formerly lacquer or oil finish and needed supplement (Pledge or Murphy's or equal) to keep the oil in the wood and resist cracking and drying out and help protect it from moisture. Nothing has oil finish now or lacquer. Everything is poly whatever based due to eco rules.
So Pledge is still out there and does smell nice, but it really has no use in this century. IMHO. But if you like it, keep using it, Pledge/Johnson & Johnson employees need a job.
