Front Brake Handle Adjustment?

I searched  but didn't see anything, and maybe this is trivial, but the brake lever is a little too far away for my hand.  Is there any way to adjust it to bring it a half inch or so closer to the handlebar?

I don't believe there is any adjustment on the brake or clutch handles.  I don't know if aftermarket handles would be any different or not.
