I was quoted $499.00 a lid then the speakers / amp kit and labor they where talking $1800 bucks total!!! holy crap!!! :soapbox:

Not worth it at all.

I wanted them really bad for my 2012 Skunk which I still have.  I also have the 2013 CVO King with the speakers in the lids.  Moving I can not hear them, and they along with the amp take up lots of saddlebag space.  Sure glad I never pulled the trigger on them for my Skunk

The fact that the lid speakers take up room in the bags, and you can't hear them while riding, (and the $$ especially when you consider the Yellow Pearl CVO paint) helped me make the decision to just put on vented lowers w/ speakers and be done with it.

The lid speakers do look cool though...

need a good amp and the right speakers ;)    Then its not so bad,,, :)
