Ditto. I am blessed that JR is local to me. He is simply 'the best.'  Love ya man.

I agree and I'm not local.  From the west coast, Terrie and I agree.  I know there's several other Californians that feel the same way, too. :2vrolijk_21:

And prayers for Arland and Vickie.  I don't know them but I can sure relate to what they've gone through and are going through.  It sure brought back memories and I remain greatful that I can even walk again, unassisted.  I pray for the same for both of them....to be able to walk unassited and pain free! :2vrolijk_21:

Spoke with  Arland and Vickie today to wish them a happy 4th of July and see what prayer needs they have today. Vickie is having a tough day today with pain. She said it is raining there today and that doesn't help. She goes in the 31st of July to see how everything is going and see if she can start moving. Arland said he got 2 pins out of his foot and has 3 left in there for now. Doctor said it's healing fine and he is scheduled for the 16th of July to have the other 3 pins removed. He said his taste buds are screwed up. Everything is magnified, salt taste really salty, barbecue sauce is magnified and so on. He said he is having a hard time getting his appetite. Doctor said he was put under a lot and could be cause. Asked Arland if Doc said it will go away and he said he will ask him next time he see's him. Also need to be praying for his short term and long term pay starts coming in. He said he talked to them this week and hopes he got it taken care of. They both said they appreciate everyone's prayers and to please keep them coming! Love ya'll and thank you for your love and prayers, God Bless and Happy 4th of July to everyone! :2vrolijk_21:

Prayers still being sent. Everything is temporary, don't let the pain get you depressed. There is a brighter day ahead...

Hey All! Straight from the horses mouth. Thanks everyone for all the great posts with prayers and well wishes. You are right PG1 that was a lot better day and a great MV GTG. We will miss seeing everyone at MV this year. We canceled our room just the other day. We was wanting to be able to walk well enough to bring the cage to MV and visit with all our friends and meet some new ones but we are not well enough. Vickie is just starting to walk again with a big boot and a walker but she can't go very far without resting. The ortho Doc last week said he always has 12 week no weight bearing when the foot is damaged as bad as mine was. I was happy my foot was still in my boot and would have hated to have seen what it looked like if I had not been wearing my heavy boots. I had several sessions in the Erlanger Hospital hyperbaric chamber that really helped heal the sores on my foot and the road rash on both elbows. I go to ortho on Sept 17, to evaluate if I can start putting weight on my right foot. Vickies Mom is doing a great job taking care of us both. I got most of my appetite back, her mom makes the best gravy and biscuits ever. I ate ketchup on some fries for the first time since May 7th. We still have a long road ahead but we are getting better almost every day thanks to all of your love and support. I hope to be online more in the future and look forward to seeing everybody soon.                     Arland

Good to hear from you Arland.  You and Vicki have gone through a lot and have more to endure.  But with each other and Moma and lots
of Prayers things are starting to Look Up.
