polished tank

Can you wax the polished parts of the bike ?I have the black one and want to wax it but am not sure if i can.The tank and fenders have the polished metal look ,i think its clearcoated over but not sure if its considered as paint?

The clearcoat is paint, most likely a urethane enamel.  Yes, you can polish it or wax it.  Unless you are trying to remove swirls or marks, stick with waxing, not polishing.
