Couple different Locomotives pulling a bunch of restored cars. Some closed with AC, some open air.

This was our engine for the day.The ride meanders along for about an hour and a half then stops where there is a switch track. The loco drops and runs down to the opposite and and reconnects.

After the switch the train reverses and stops at an outfitter center, restaurants, white water and bike trials. The stop is for 1 hour.
Old fashioned, 2 cabooses, one on each end. This one had a private catered party going on - that I walked in on

Always wondered if this rusty old trestle was still active. This can be seen as you cross the Route 28 bridge over Fontana lake

Not a lot to see along the way. The tracks were laid by hand back in the 1800's. Many areas have just enough clearing through the rocks for the train to pass. They are not kidding about keeping your hands in.
But when it opens up ..........
