Today I read something that has shocked me. I just saw this on Jessica's (CVO Princess) facebook page. I'll call Jessica and update if I can. If anyone else has any news, please post.

To loved ones of Barry Todd Heine - due to his privacy settings I am unable to make a post on his wall but hope this will show up. I wanted to inform everyone if they haven't already heard of his passing. My brothers and I plan on being in Paducah today and getting plans made for services. Thank you all for your love and support.

He will be missed more than he ever could have imagined.

I just talked to Barry's son Chris. Apparently Barry died Sunday night of an accidental overdose of pain medication. He had been in a lot of pain with his back and having trouble sleeping and took extra pain medication trying to sleep.

There will be a memorial service Saturday in Paducah, KY on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Milner and Orr Funeral Home | 3745 Old US Hwy 45 South | Paducah, KY 42003 | Phone: (270) 534-420
Jessica and her brothers are struggling with this loss. They all could use our support and as Chris said, "He loved his Harley and love the CVO group."

Very sad. I was around Barry and his beautiful daughter, Jessica, at a couple of CVO GTG's in Maggie Valley and thought the world of him.

Barry had suffered some very tragic events in the past few years, both personally and within his family.

Jessica...know that my thoughts are with you, and those of us fortunate enough to have met both you and your Dad love you both.

Just looked and can't find a pic wanted to find. Does anyone have the image of Barry riding backseat with me (and grabbing my chest) after he laid down his green bike? Ken and Howie and I'm not sure who else were with us that day. But a pic got posted.

There was another one of me riding his mangled green bike out of the ditch and Barry with a gobsmacked looked on his face as we came out. I've got some with Barry and Jess I need to find.

Just spoke to the funeral home in Paducah. Time for services isn't nailed down yet. They are working on plans "right now" and will have specific information later today.

No problem. The funeral director had Heine mixed up with Ryan. I confirmed with Jessica and called the Lone Oak facility for address.

If anyone has any pics of Barry and Jess (separately or together) please post them here. V is doing a great thing and getting prints made of whatever good stuff we can come up with to give to Jessica.

As little chatter as we can get away with so it's easier for V to sort through it all. Just post what we have to celebrate a good man, the great girl he adored, and the times we got to share with both of them.

I love this picture. Maggie Valley 2006. We spent an hour (maybe more) staging up the largest single group photo of CVO bikes that's ever been taken. Nearly everyone was having a good time while it was all going on.

Then once all the bikes were staged and their photos taken different groups of friends paraded in front for their own pics. This was a great day. The best of times. Will miss you Barry. Jess, so very sorry. Love you and your dad.

You were a strong kid then. Your dad has described nothing but a strong woman growing up since. Every time we've chatted his favorite topic has always been what's up next with you. I know it hurts right now and I'm so sorry. Hang on to those you love and it will get better. Your dad was and will be always this happy with you n his arm or in his thoughts.

One of your members just sent a message to me via Facebook regarding the passing of Barry. Like most of you, I especially remember my first Maggie Valley CVO event and how special it was to see a father and daughter enjoying riding and what a precious and loving daughter Jessica was to Barry. My heart goes out to the whole family. They have suffered so much heartache during the last few years. Please pass along my heartfelt sorrow to Jessica and give her a big hug from Diva. If I lived closer I would attend the memorial.

Didn't have the pleasure to meet Barry and his daughter Jess but he looked like he was at his happiest when he had her on the back of his steel steed, logging miles. What a lucky man to have been able to share the love we all hold for this sport with his special girl. Every time I've seen Berry and his daughter both of them had always had a BIG smile on there face.
Berry the man I met and came to know was a very giving person and would literally give you the shirt
off his back, but most important he was a GREAT friend to everyone he met. Berry's memory will ALWAYS

Saw V today at the memorial service. It was a well attended service filled with people that obviously cared. The words shared weren't long. But they emphasized the love, devotion and dedication Barry had for his kids. Spoke with Jess for a bit too. She was being a trooper. Can only hope someone is ready to be there for her and the boys now for awhile.

I started a reply to this thread several times, finally went to Barry's FB page and read through posts and then his pictures he had posted. I am so saddened at his passing. I met Barry when Donna and I went to AK in 07'. He touched so many lives.

My most sincerest thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. I know he is at peace but taken far too soon. Godspeed Barry you are sadly missed.
