If I remember correctly, Heinz was a friend of kerry and was killed in a plane crash. John Kerry, not one to miss an advancing opportunity laid at his feet, dumped his wife, that had supported him through school, and married the RICH widow of his buddy.

My State Senator...along with Teddy and rep. Frank (my District)...never voted for any of them...stuck with them...even wrote in Anne's name when there wasn't an opponent...

I feel your pain big guy, I truly do.  Unfortunately I believe we are going to get a lot more of them before we know it.

I guess we need to be ready for two years of lame duck politics.  But I digress or maybe not, that's what got this thread started anyway.

...Too many of our reps are too busy being polititans instead of representatives...that is why one of the Big Dig tunnels is the Tip O'Neill tunnel and the "park" to be built above will be the Rose Kennedy Greenway...

and it is at all levels...why have two selectman run in my town over the last three years...because they wanted to infulence the decisions the town makes...oh and those decisions just happen to have a direct impact on their businesses...hmmmmm

and lastly when did the person become more important than the position...I get so annoyed when I hear a "public service" ad for the state start with "Hi, I am JANE DOE, your state Comptroller with an important message..."
