adding garage door opener to 2014 Ultra Limited
« on: October 14, 2013, 11:01:19 PM »

Does anyone know what would be involved to add the official HD Garage Door Opener kit to a 2014 Ultra Limited. Does it require pulling the handlebars apart or is it something that is added within the fairing.

This is the kit

Not sure if this would be needed; the 2014 Limited comes with heated grips so this might already be installed?

If anyone has any information; I would sure appreciate knowing

Thank you

The auto garage door kit is standard equipment on the CVO version ONLY.  I have it on both bikes and love this feature.

Can you put the opener for two different bikes on the same door?

If you are talking about the Harley door opener Yes you can. The receiver supplies a closed contact to open the door. You can have 1000's if you want because they all just supply a momentary closed circuit. It the door is open then it closes the door and visa versa.
