Supershooter,

Looks like you are doing a completely rebuild!

I only removed the outer fairing & passing lamps! It was a lot of work to install the 578's. My patience was getting real thin after 1 day to install them & another day to get the heated grips to work.

I guess living in Iowa, with all that cold & snow you'll have plenty of time to get it right! Watched the Weather Channel today & it looks like you won't be riding too soon! But then again I'm not riding this week either!

Good luck with your project! Post some pics when you are done.

I have heard of the saying 'a face only a mother could love'. I guess this is an example of what they mean.

To each his own, but I have never thought a fat chick was better than a slim one.

I kept watching 2K's swimming-pool-beauty avatar and wondering: How did that top stay on her shirt-berries?   ;)

Finished the install of the WO502 12.5 apes on the SERGU and took a nice test ride.  Big difference, and much more comfortable.  Didn't have to replace brake or clutch line; just had to re-route the clutch line and bleed it.

Removed the exhaust pipe and boxed it up to ship to a rider in PA. Stripped bike down starting to install 13" apes.

This afternoon just outside of Lethbridge, Alberta. A cold 14 degrees Celsius or 57 degrees Fahrenheit but worth the short ride.

Was at Edmonton Alberta many years ago at Wainwright, your picture reminds me of a great time with my Canadian Paratrooper friends.   :2vrolijk_21:

Cry me a river... It was -22c with the W.C. in Ontario today.  I'm sure glad you were able to enjoy a ride.

Next week the weatherman tells us to expect an "Alberta Clipper", thanks a lot!   ;D

I am glad someone in the country is able to ride though.

Got around to installing the mid frame deflectors. Not a big job at all, but they have been sitting in the box on the shelf too long =)

Progress, slowly but surely. Now time to replace the brake and clutch lines.

Took the cover off the bike to show off the ride to a friend of mine.  Tempted to leave the cover off, temps are on the rise here, but the roads are still a mess.

Just downloaded the 1.17.4 for the 6.5, turned on assc. switch, plugged in USB stick, took 6 mins. Done. No riding, still to much snow on the ground.
