Ok, maybe I'm missing something, but there's a slight bell flare at the end of each pipe - so how do get the flanges off?  Also, Fullsac's description for the pipe lists "CNC-machined billet flanges" which I would assume to be new mounting flanges.

I'm great with reusing the stocks, but how do you get them off and onto the other pipes?  I apologize in advance if that's a stupid question that I should clearly see.

They can be a bit a of a bear to get off, but they do come off.  Kind of bend and twist with a pair of pliers - starting at one end.

Grab one end of the "C" and get it up around the pipe flange and walk it around and pull it off.

Regards,

Mark

P.S.  If you don't mess up the gaskets getting the pipes off, I recommend leaving them in there.  Installing the new ones is a bear, too.
I had a heck of a time (on my first install)  getting the gasket to seat flush.  They make a tool, but I wasn't gonna' invest for one install.

When I did my brother's bike, we just left the originals in.  They were basically brand new anyway.

Figured it out before anyone replied, but thanks to those who did. I think the most appropriate line would be from the movie 'Top Gun.'  "The State Department regrets to inform you that your sons are dead because they were stupid."

It took me a grand total of 2 minutes to get the C-ring retainers off, and find that the flanges slid right off.

Geez <face palm>

Went for a short 100 mile ride to the dealership that is the farthest away to buy some more chrome polish. Ran into a couple of riders, one had a Road King and the other one a Limited. Ended up standing around and talking about our bikes and all the past and future mods for a couple of hours!!! Instant friendship. :)

On day 2 of our week long bayou trip to Lafeyette LA. Rode some back roads from Baton Rouge to Morgan City LA then back north to our Hotel.  Great day of riding and then finished it off with some étouffée from Prejeans.

Now that sounds like a good trip.
