Video is good but how do you have the patience to stay behind that car so long? Would drive me insane..

LMAO I knew someone would ask that question. It drove me insane also. There were several bikes following me that did not know how to get where we were going and I did not want to lose any of them. That car was slowing down and speeding up so much I don't think they knew where they were going either!!

Replaced the stock seat (which is still the best looking and possibly most uncomfortable seat for a BO) with the Danny Gray solo seat in anticipation of the long rides this summer.

Great looking seat Cam, let us know how it performs.

Thanks guys. After a couple 300 mile rides caused severe assoditis(?) I figured looks aren't everything when it comes to bike seats! I wish I could tell you if the DG seat makes a difference ride-comfort-wise but we have had the monsoons for the past 3 days. I'll report back as soon as the weather allows. For now, I am pleasantly surprised that the seat looks much, much better than I expected.

Hopefully will be picking this up.

That is gorgeous.   Who did the work and if you dont mind, send me a PM so I can get an idea what something like this costs - the paint alone must be super expensive.

Liking the direction you are taking that bike.   Thanks for the inspiration HRider!!!

Went to Vroomshoop, Netherland, and bought an orange 2014 SERK for my friend. 800 km from home (500 mi) was closest I could find. Could have gotten a grey one cheaper but he only considered orange.
Started at 16–30 and was back home 01-00 in the morning. Most of riding time in the rain. Found the stock seat to be OK. Found my new helmet to be PERFECT.
I highly recommend the dealership in Vroomshoop (what a name for town!) if you happen to be there. Family run for 3 generations. Nice people and lots of goods!

Yesterday evening put on the Daymaker Reflector headlight and mirrors with LED turn indicators, same as I have on my bike.
Was not happy about having to cut off connectors and splicing wires. Funny thing is that the dealership offered me adapter harness (part nr 69200897) and the connector on the harness was ALSO WRONG!
I don't know WHO they make this for. All the 2014 HDI bikes sold here come with either projector type Daymaker or dual halogen headlight. The harness is useless in both cases.
I have no prob splicing four wires but come on, they sell this lamp for 500 euros here!

nothing as major as some of you guys, but i went from this:

to this:

using the innovative storage solutions, in-the-bag (4).  same set you can get from eglide goodies, only direct from them, it's $10 cheaper.  to be fair, i noticed that i didn't have the little bag with the air pump and gauge back in the bag yet when i took the pic.  but there is still a ton more room.  the only downside is that it doesn't fit quite the same way that it would if the bags weren't extended.  the regular bags it'll sit flat, but with the extended bags, the bottom of the bag is curved where the cutout for the exhaust is, so it sits a little crooked, and of course, the amp on the other side.  good thing the double sided tape that the moco uses to hold that amp in is not that great.  i just slid the amp up, put the bag in, then slid the amp down again.  it's still worth the $60, imo.....  i'll at least be able to put the saddle bag liner in when we go on a trip now.
