Gotta love people that ship their bikes to a motorcycle rally.......

Could be their schedule or something of that nature. I have never done it myself. My boss trailers EVERYWHERE. Even 50 miles away to rallys LOL. I put more miles on my bike then he will all summer in the first month. To each his own though there are varying degrees of biker.

Maybe there's health issues or time constraints making them do that. Dunno.

1st time to MV with my wife - trailered
2nd time to MV with my wife - flew her down and picked her up (never do that again)
3rd time to MV with my wife - trailered
And if she decides to go this year - trailer

Some people are physically incapable of more then 2 hours or so a day riding.

I agree it's a personnal choice. My choice is that if I can't ride the MC there I am not going.

As long as I am riding stateside I can ride anywhere. Might ship it to Europe next year for a week of EU riding. But that is in an airplane not on a trailer

I guess shipping might make sense, if you are pressed for time, just not as much fun!

That's where I am now but could change later who knows. I'm lucky my wife sits in the saddle for 650 mile days and never complains.

Gotta love people that ship their bikes to a motorcycle rally.......
With all due respect, some people work a tremendous amount (65-80 hrs/6 days per week) and use their mc as their release on the 4 days a month that they are not working. It can be very difficult if the rally is a entire day or more away to be able to make it at all. If that is your lifestyle then why not ship your bike there, fly in when you can, ride and enjoy like crazy and then get back to "doing your thing" that allows you to be able to support all the people that depend on you (not to mention be able to afford this expensive hobby..) and put around 10000 miles a year loving it.
Its kinda one of those "until you walk a mile in my shoes" type of deals..

You should walk a mile in someone's shoes before insulting them. That way they have to chase you barefoot, and you have a big head start.

Going to pull it outside (in the rain) to wash it off real good and then back inside for a good cleaning.
