227 kph on some of the turns - topping out at 231 kph, and he caught the guy.

It was probably a BMW or Saab or some such car.  Even maybe an Audi.  That cop sure was determined to catch him though.  He should have bailed on the chase long before he caught him because it just isn't worth putting your life or the life of others at risk like that for a speeding ticket.
