took it out today for a few,   smoke seems to be subsided now.   thinkin a dyno tune is in order.

i'll be honest,  after having the vance and hines drag pipes on the last bike,  these just seem too quiet for me even with the larger baffles.

does the full sac x / baffles, make more power than a full system

I have the 2" and love them---not too loud.  But then, I take my hearing aids out when I ride.  LOL

the highest power systems - typically are not that loud. its getting the perfect balance of low back pressure plus zero reversion that produces the most power.

straight pipes will be the loudest - produce the worst power characteristics and risk exhaust valve damage. [for full on race use at high rpm, straight pipes are just fine - riding on the street is not racing.]

if you want loud - you are likely to sacrifice some power at low rpm [under 4000] and gain some at high rpm levels, but even that is simplistic.

whatever you do - loud does NOT equal power

I love my Fullsac SD 2.25 cores (no packing) with DX headers.....I don't think they're that loud ...I think they're just right ....my buddy has V&H high outputs and I don't come close to the sound those make!
