2014 CVO Limited first trip review
« on: March 28, 2014, 11:04:00 AM »

After taking the first 1600 mile trip on the bike I now remember why I decided to purchase this bike.  On the HWY the roll on torque for passing is great. The wind protection is pretty good right from the factory, maybe could use a slightly taller windshield to stop the buffeting but then I would be looking through it which isn't a good idea. The overall comfort was great even in the rain and cold weather. Appears to of used little to no oil during the trip.  Infotainment system when working proved to be a really nice addition.  Does anyone know if the Low Fuel search on the Nav is adjustable? I ran the bike down to less than 10 miles range left and it didn't pop up and ask about finding a gas station until I cranked the bike back up leaving the station.  That feature would be really handy at about 60 miles out so you have range to find a station.

Overall GREAT bike very pleased with purchase.

I'm only 5'9" so I went with th 8"shield. There are instructions on their site for choosing the correct height. I can see over the shield easily and I haven't experienced any buffeting at all

When I get to about a 1/8 of tank mine pops up and asks about gas stations. I would say I have about 60 miles left. I don't know if it is adjustable or not by I would ask the dealer to fix it.  10 miles won't help much.
