looking at the check list for my 10k service

what do i need for each of the following?

lubricate brake and clutch controls:

lubricate jiffy stand:

lubricate steering head bearings:

check critical fasteners: ( i assume there's a list somewhere )

Critical fasteners list is in the service manual. However, I'm sure you can find a list on the web for your year model. For steering head lube I used Green Grease from an auto parts store. HD has it's own brand of grease that you can get from a dealer, but I'm on a anti-Harley binge for things like that. Plan on pumping your grease gun about 100 times.

Jiffy stand? I imagine any lubricant will do. Brake and clutch cables? I bought a can of lube from the HD dealer, but it wasn't a HD product.
