You maybe a fortune teller and don't know it. After she finds out what I spent on Gertie this month, she will drown my big butt.

Looks like she is fixin' to sneeze.  Springer gets that look when he sniffs my scotch glass.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Tis the Season...my wife can't stop dressing the poor fella up...

This reminds me of Annie Bea's recent eye surgery.

Other than Rjob749, I don't know if anyone else in CVO land is blessed with Boxers.  Renea and I are, and I'll be first in line to say I thank God for these wonderful creatures everyday.  Not long ago, Rjob749 mentioned words to the effect that Boxers aren't for everyone.  I agree 100%.  They are the #1 rescue breed, because most people do not know what they are getting themselves into when they bring an energetic Boxer into their home.  They are quite needy.  They need their humans.  They need lots of exercise to burn off all that natural energy.  They don't do well as outside dogs.  Coat is too short to keep them warm in the winter and their square, brachycephalic (smashed in snoot with highly undershot lower jaw) does not permit efficient breathing for body cooling during the summer. We don't consider these faults.
A few minutes ago I got up from my perch on the couch and left my laptop in my seat.  When I came back, Springer had laid down on top of my laptop...........obviously upset that I was more interested in spending time with my CVO friends than playing with him.  I wouldn't trade moments with my Boxers for anything.  Yet another reason I believe there are dogs, and then there are Boxers!! There you go.  Just another "ism" from the boxers.

Our last three boxers are all rescue dogs and most likely all of our next ones will be too.  I doubt we'll ever be able to change or downsize although Q makes a good arguement for the downsized version IMHO.

Both of mine came and worked their way under my desk and pushed me out this morning, I hadn't fed them and it was 10 minutes past the normal feeding time.  Too funny, who is whose pet, often it seems we are theirs.

I'm sure Bagger would agree that if you are a dog person, a boxer is a great choice, one downside.........they sort of come in pairs.  Right now we own two 70 pound lap dogs. ;D
