Cool Dog Barkley  Welcome to the site by the way. Is it me or does Chicago look just like New York ?

B B

Remember the old tv show "Hill Street Blues?"  Story set in NYC.  But most of their street exteriors were shot in Chicago to save money.  Similar enough looks in many many areas to get away with it.

Here's a pic of my Greyhound, Shug, chillin' out at the lake a couple of weekends ago.  This is is favorite place to be on the front screened in porch down at the lake cabin.

...and here's my Australian Terrier, Nell.   She's diabetic, but does fine at over 11 years old.  My buddy has a 100lb German Shepherd "puppy", and Nell met him for the first time on this trip.  She put everybody in their place...fearless little dog and tough as a pine knot.

OK, here's Cindy sporting her new Spring cut. We call her the velour kitty right now. Once she gets over the embarassment of being almost naked, she starts acting a lot younger without all of her long hair. This is the DIY version as she's just too old to put under for a haircut.

What do your arms and other body parts look like? Last time we tried that we looked like we'd been through a shredder.

I think you should start a poll to show a biker's favourite pets. :2vrolijk_21:

I actually started doing this to her when she was much younger. She's amazing calm through the whole ordeal, which takes a day or two to complete as she does tire of it and I give her a break. The photos of the not-so-finished cat can be rretty hilarious because my method is get at whatever you can at the moment. It's a major hack job that slowly gets done.

Right now, its too prickly for her to get very comfortable, so she's still a bit cranky. In a couple of days, she'll shed 5 years and amaze us all how playful she gets. She'll be 18 in July.

I am amazed at the lack of jokes produced by those pictures. Usually the inuendos come fast and furious. You are all so well behaved. :2vrolijk_21:

Chief, I take mine two boy's Willie and Bobbie to get shaved at least once a year and they come home feeling so much younger too. It is so strange they really like not having all that hair. Our orange and white tabby Persian was acting like he was dying  just stayed close to his litter box and food  but now he is all over the house again both my cats are 13 years old. I would never shave them myself my cats bite the hand that feeds them just bathing them, I am not sure why they do that. I guess because Dave helps out feeding them so they think they can do with out me.
