Please keep my boy in your thoughts and prayers as he has surgery on 27 November to excise this cancer.  Thanks.
Henry

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your special guy. He's a cutie! Give him a hug and puppy kiss from me!  :-*

Wanted to share some more pictures of my two helpers.  That my Annie Bea in the foreground, and that's Springer in the background.

Have you trained them to retrieve beer out of the cooler yet? Sure looks like they are keeping a watch over it. ;D

No.  Normally it is the other way around.  I get one.  They stare at me.  I get two bowls, and they finish my beer.  After all...........they are of German heritage.   ;D

Doggie Boxer beer farts are gross considered a chemical attack.

There!  Now THAT is accurate.   ;D

Well, today is the day.  Springer has surgery this morning to excise the mass cell tumor on his right hock.  Since he'll be down, he's having his gums resected (common with Boxers) his teeth cleaned, and his nails ground almost to the quick.  He'll be wearing a lampshade for the next week or so while his hock heals.  He's gonna be one ticked off pup later this afternoon, I imagine.  He's already protesting the breakfast boycott this morning.  He ain't happy.

Please keep our CVO Boxer in your thoughts today.  He's a great little guy.  Thanks.

Henry...I know the surgery will go well, and he'll be back to normal in no time at all.  You're right, he's not going to like the lamp shade, but maybe he'll leave the thing alone and you can take it off...it's embarrasing for him.  :-[   Let me know how things turn out...
