Still a little color left on the Japanese Maples...Most of the leaves are down now, but there's a few left on some of the Sweet Gums and these.

Last one...this is the same specie of tree, but depending on how much light they get, they range from this color to the orange/red of the prior one.

Yep, he'll never know what hit him, though when he's feeling good, they'll be going "what was that streak that just went by?"

He's still at the vet, rehydrated, and beginning to eat some again.  I'm headed over in a little while to visit...Nice thing about this clinic is they are open on Sunday afternoons.

Here's a few pics of the new Australian Terrier pups...5 months old, so the feathering on the legs and around the neck, plus the topknot is not in yet.  They are currently about as big as they will get...may grow another 1/2" tall, and put on 2 or 3 more pounds each.

Here's Rider (Midnight Rider)

Rider even looks like you Terry! Short inseam and all!!

Hi Suzanne, Thanks so much.  He's doing very well this morning.  He ate his breakfast and went outside to make sure all is right in his world, then came back in.  Annie Bea is like a mother hen...........always checking on him.  He's still kindy loopy, but is getting his bounce back.  No limping.  I imagine that wound is gonna start itching, and that's when the lampshade will go on whether he likes it or not.

I haven't been on the site in a few days and am catching up.  So glad that Springer is feeling better.   :2vrolijk_21:   Annie Bea, keep up the mothering.

Springerrrrrrrrrrr!
Vet called yesterday with Springer's histopathology results.  Low grade mass cell tumor.  Margins were large and clean.  Tumor was in close proximity to the lymph node in the hock region, but there was no evidence of nastiness in that area.  It may or may not rear it's ugly head again.  We know lymph systems from years gone by, and both Boxers get a good once over every day.  Ever Vigilant!!!  Stitches out next Friday.

Springer is pretty much............Springer.  Doesn't appear to be letting his wound bother him too much.  Not paying it any mind lately.  Right now he is do a really good impression of a couch slouch.   ;D

We are enjoying the new puppies SO much!   :2vrolijk_21:   We went shopping at the pet store yesterday afternoon and it was fun shopping for toys and treats.   :)   They are both full of pi$$ and vinegar, especially the female.  SO cute and lots of company.   :2vrolijk_21:

Got to go see Shug this afternoon...they have an IV taped to his leg to give him the fluids, so he had a clear lamp shade on to keep from licking that.  He was glad to see me, and I got to take him out to their play area outside and spend a little time with him.  He is feeling much better!!  Got a little sparkle in his eyes, is almost fully hydrated, they gave him 1/2 can of food yesterday which he gobbled down, had a bit easier time with it coming out the other end yesterday.  Ate this morning, and not gone again as of 4 PM, which is a good sign that things have slowed down in his digestion a bit.  They are feeding small quatities to ensure he keeps it down.  He ate while I was there, and did so like he used to, so things are looking better.  Waiting on the blood work to come back from Texas, and he's not back yet, so he's going to spend a couple of more days there.  He was much more perky today though, so things are looking up...hope he can process the little bit of calories he's getting now.

That's wonderful Terry.  Great to hear the Greyhound is finally feeling better.  He doesn't understand you coming and going like that but it sounds like he's getting great care now.  Hope you have him home, happy and playing again very soon.

I do however have a CVO CAT. Purebred Black Cat. And his name is Red. Check him ou he is one Badass.
