They sure do look spoiled, mine too...although they'd never admit to it.

You'd got that right Ed...if they admitted it, then we wouldn't give them the treatment they expect...my cats don't think they're spoiled, that's just normal life for them.

Boy, don't I know that that statement isn't true!!   We owners of cats are to love them at their convenience, not ours.  Mine seem to want their love at 3am...and blue point male will bite, not nibble, but bite your fingers until you wake up and pet him...

LOL! The other night the older one, Scrapes, wanted to get into the closet so at 2:00am wakes me up to open the door for her. She gets on the middle shelves we have, about 48" off the floor and stays there so Abe can't get at her. After about an hour and I'm well back to sleep she launches off the shelf and onto me and of course couldn't have aimed better if she tried... Ouch, I just got up and left for work.

Very true, but mine seem to get friendlier as the temps drop. Last week when it hit -4 I couldn't get them off of us.

LOL...I don't think there's a cat owner that at one time or another, the cat hasn't launched itself, right smack dab in the middle of your "happy place".  It's bad enough when you're awake, but when you're in a dead sleep, it is the most excrutiating way to be woken up.

This one of my favorite pictures and the only digital one I have of the kids with our old best friend, Pibbs. My son is now 19 and the girls 15 and 12. My best friend I had to put down when she turned 14, 7 years ago...But this is when she was happy and feeling fine so it always makes me feel good but I sure do miss her a lot.

This one of my favorite pictures and the only digital one I have of the kids with our old best friend, Pibbs. My son is now 19 and the girls 15 and 12. My best friend I had to put down when she turned 14, 7 years ago...But this is when she was happy and feeling fine so it always makes me feel good but I sure do miss her a lot. 

She looks like she was a sweetie, Ed. 

Cowboy might have been handy to have around, to give back as good as he got.  But Cowboy has found a nice home in the breeder's home town, and will get to be shown by the breeder so he can become Mr. Stud Dog.  The new owners have another Aussie named Harley (neutered), so they will get along fine.

Cats on the noonies at inoportune times can be most uncomfortable!!

This isn't one of my "kids", (I'd never be able to get any of them to wear this, let alone sit still long enough to take the picure), but I have a copy of this in my office.  It always puts a smile on my face.

You got that right Ed.  I half expect to see that one of these days when I do come home.  There's been times when I've come home and TV's already on...
