Big Greyhounds; maybe.  The little Italian Greyhounds though; just short term super fast lap dogs with a tendency toward being occasionally gassy. :2vrolijk_21:

All my Labs have been "gassy", but they all knew when they had done it and would wander away when asked "Phewww who did that" !

One of our Yellow Labs used to roll her lips back, show her teeth and give you a "cheesy" grin before she dissappeared under the nearest table - sooooo funny  :D

Not nearly so regal as a German Shorthair Pointer.  But when a small Greyhound passes out for the night it really passes out.

Don...that position is a Greyhound thing, regardless of size.  Shug used to lay exactly like that.  They don't like their boney legs touching the surface of much of anything, so they try to lay on their backs, but can't because they aren't wide enough...so the head and neck has to prop the rest of 'em up.  No sweeter animal in this world, and not a day goes by I don't miss my Shug.

Matrix is doing great though, despite being harassed by the two Terriers.  Somebody got a rat today and brought it up on the porch, so the two tasmanian devils are doing what they were born to do, despite living in the lap of luxury.

Give Diz a hug from all of us...

I just chuckle whenever she does it too.  The two IG's I've had all did it just as you describe.  Mom's do too.  For the life of me I can never decide if they look so comfortable they just can't move anymore or look they can't find a spot.  But when they get it right they're dead to the world.  World's fastest couch potatos need their beauty sleep :drink: .

Red, my friend, Suzanne missed a perfectly good photo op with the dead rat on the porch...she was so grossed out, she scooped the thing up in a dust pan and threw him over the fence.  Rider (the male Aussie Terrier) wanted to keep playing with it.  They are born and bred ratters, and will also go after a snake, even if it means their own demise.  Your baby probably was doing the same thing...protecting you.  Hopefully she got the best of the rattler before it got the best of her.  I've read a few stories about the Austrailian Terriers doing the same thing with the snakes in their home country.  Fearless are the Terriers, yet sweethearts at the same time, if they are raised right.

The rat was laying on it's back with it's mouth open...my babies thought it was a stuffed toy, so were tossing it about.  So far...rats 0, chipmunks 0...Rider and Tango 2   :2vrolijk_21:

Youch!   I made the mistake of clicking that link too.  Nearly dribbled the notebook and sure as hell woke up the dog.

After the snake, a selection of 5 other videos came up. I would suggest clicking on the two girls kissing. I found it most entertaining, much more than the snake. ;D ;D

That's awful tempting, but I don't know if I can stand the snake video again. :nervous: :huepfenlol2:

Only good thing about that video is I know somebody that is terrified of snakes more then me..... guess who just got the link emailed to them? :sneaky:  :wiseguy:
