That's awful tempting, but I don't know if I can stand the snake video again. :nervous: :huepfenlol2:

Only good thing about that video is I know somebody that is terrified of snakes more then me..... guess who just got the link emailed to them? :sneaky:  :wiseguy:

Matrix is certainly smart.  His favorite place to be when inside the house, other than with his head on one of our laps, is on the air conditioning vent.  He's a happy boy.

Does he tease the little guys that there is food he's got that they can't reach :huepfenlol2: ?

He's so busy gobbling down his food that he doesn't think about the little guys and they're busy eating their food.  The first night and next day that he was here he wouldn't eat dog food.  We think he may have been accustomed to eating scraps.  Once he got used to eating the Flint River Ranch dog food, he loves it!  He eats 2 cups a day.  The little guys can stand on their tippy toes and drink from Matrix water bowl but can't reach into his food bowl.

Suzanne,

Two of ours also find the air conditioning vents to be their favorite spots when laps aren't avaialble.  That matrix is a fine looking boy!

Is it better to keep their feed higher off of the floor? I've read that somewhere and now that I see you guys are doing it it must be a good thing.

It seems to be more comfortable for the taller dogs.  Our babies' bowls are on the floor.

It keeps the owners from having to bend to so low to fill the bowls.

Or makes it so they disperse their droppings in a wider area of impact...  My lab can drink a few laps, and leave a puddle twice the size of the bowl, I think it's a mathematical equation...  Height or size of the bowl x size of the dog = area to step in with socks on squared.

I definitely can relate to ya! I hate it, so I have to wear slippers to keep my feet dry!
