I stopped at a lake to warm up and move around some. The south wind I dodged before was back in full force this morning, maybe worse.

Way better than coffee----NOT

Thought I'd better have some sodium too

They have all the "wonder areas" marked with red flags.  That's because you wonder what this one will be like

What's that?---as I'm hurrying down the road looking for coffee

He didn't give two hoots about me being there-----why should he when you're top of the food chain

Followed him up the road for about 10 minutes----Then I scampered

Just before gas, breakfast and COFFEE----I saw a nice view and some pretty flowers and wondered what they would both look like in the same picture---so I layed down in the road and got this

Dead dog--moved, but not far

Then I had an episode---when filling up with gas when I arrived, I got off the bike and noticed that my sheepskin was not on top of my Airhawk. It was terrible windy so I looked around the gas station lot and didn't see it. Thinking back, it must have blown off when I stopped for flower pics and I didn't notice it. So the big question---do I leave it or ride back however far? and see if it's there-----

So after all that---I'm back on the road to Whitehorse

10 miles past the gas station---I see another pretty mountain and more flowers-----

Had to stop for a picture---no sheepskin--WTF--with the wind blowing so hard, it must have blown off before I could get on the bike---asked the same question--now it's 25 mi back---figured it was a nice day and the scenery was inspiring so why not---found it in same place and said screw it, into the saddlebag you go---on my way to Whitehorse

I come around a bend and see this--An uncle and nephew out of gas

I now know the station is 3 curves, a hill and 10 miles down the road, so why not

By this time I didn't have enough gas to make it to the next town, so I put in $10 worth too

Then back to the van
