DAY 14--another beautiful, wonderful day. Started early from Whitehorse and the road was excellent. Got into more mountain country. Nice sweepers and superb vistas. You could see forever, both up and down as the road was half way up the hills.  More lakes also. Today I was the rabbit---although no one was behind me---I guess no one was in front of me either.  Really enjoyed the curves and hills with the road to myself. It was cold starting out, but by noon I was able to put on jeans/chaps and a short sleeve T-shirt.  That hasn't happened since day two.

As the sun was coming up, it hit the trees creating a strobe effect---had it for the first hour and it drove me nuts. Thought I was in a disco. I held my hand up to cover the sun as long as I could.  Give me shade--give me sun--but you can have the strobe

Saw a lot of these places up North---signs of better times---the ones with the best location are the ones that made it---or enough money to weather the bad times

Pee break---I got off my bike and turned around and saw this---it's just beautiful any way you look

Saw this guy eating dandelions--watched him for 15 min.---I yelled, reved my bike, honked the horn, nothing----he acted like my daughters did when they were teenagers
