Had more construction today--sign said fresh oil--I freaked until I got up there---they had it pretty well covered with rock.
After the oil part, they had 15 miles of dusty gravel

I turned off the Alaskan Highway just short of Watson Lake on Hwy 37, also known as the Cassiar Highway.  It's a whole different road. Narrow, no shoulders, brush right to the edge and lots of blind curves. You just stay on your side and hope the other guy does too--lots of fun and the best scenery. It travels between to mountain ranges and so you are right there looking up all the time

When you see these red flags--these are not "wonder whats"---these are "better slow way down"--- and keep your eyes open because the worst ones aren't even marked---big potholes that need dodging or something will break
