I enjoy cruising with the wife on the back and we have fun for about a half hour and then the seat is just to hard and uncomfortable. Does anyone know of a thicker padded seat and (I'll probably need a higher sissy bar) that will fit on the 99 FXR-3 frame? Something that is comfy for her so we can read longer and further. Thanks, Mark 716-208-4686

seats are so tough….you really just have to try them and find out.
What may feel right and comfortable might not look the best either…but so be it.

You might check out mustang and corbin to extremes and two good quality companies….
If you decide you want to sell your FXR3 seat let me know.

Regards,

Tim

Mustang seat is very comfortable for 2 up riding, next Corbin, last stock. also get taller sissy bar.

The Mustang Wide Touring seat is about the best long ride seat I've found.
