I joined last night after browsing around looking for pictures of SE V-Rods.I had been at this Forums looking around before but this time the new X model was included in the VRSCSE section.I'm a recent owner of the 07 VRSCX,less than a month ago I purchased # 41.I am not new to V-Rods or other Harleys.I like a variety of makes and models and have a few other than HD's.
I am 50 yo and am married to my wife Theresa for about 250 years now.All the kids are grown w their own and it's just Theresa and I along w 2 Dachshunds.We both work full time.Theresa is a retail store manager and I rebuild automatic transmissions .She rides as a passenger on our Heritage.Theresa didn't have much interest in bikes untill a few years ago when she started hanging w me at meets and gatherings and got tired of chasing after me in her car.The bike has brought us closer.
I ride alot,every day to work and usually around the state I live in,which is FLA.I put a few hundred on today.I usually do most of my own repair work and modifications.I have to know the tech that will perform repairs on my bikes when warranty will cover it,if I'm not comfortable w the tech I'll do it myself.I have a very good understanding w the Service and General managers and my sister is friends w the owner of the dealer.I belong to a few other Forums and one in particular I spend a pile of time on and join in the rallys and rides around the nation.In Sept.I tryed to secure the first production VRSCX but was told it was taken,it went to Eagle Harley in Indiana.I have met the whole Davidson family and alot of the dept heads from KC and Milwaukee.Most of them really do own and ride V-Rods.
