The 2014 stock bars are 1.25" all the way so you other have to buy bars that are 1.25" at the riser or buy a 2013 riser kit and yaffie doesn't make them 1.25 all the way for are bikes apperently so you have to change the riser I may see if br apes can make them 1.25 for the 2014 instead of changing the riser

Thanks for that info as this is what I thought. BR Customs will do a bar that is 1 1/4 all the way through the mounting area which is the route I will be going once I commit to a design I want.

I fill in with my BRs 16" sweeping beaters once I get them. 1,25 was no problem for BR. Downside it takes forever to get them...but I'll hope once installed everything will be fine.

Just installed 16 in Vindikta Avengers, had to do extended brake and clutch lines along with the wiring, did not have to extend TBW wiring. Only took 2 weeks to get the bars, and ordered the lines through HDBikeParts.com.

Here's my 2013 SERK with Wild Ones Chubby 14" bars. Ended up having a shop do the modification. No regrets! Tight fit for internal wiring. Very comfortable and looking forward to some long days in the saddle soon!  Thanks Hubbz for the inspiration!!!

Looks awesome! Do you have any more pics? Can you share how much additional length is required on the clutch and brake cables? Do the apes work with the stock windshield? Thanks!

I had purchased the parts after talking to the guy at http://www.hdbikeparts.com/ .  I don't remember the guys name but he was very familiar with all aspects of this modification and was excellent to deal with. I had intentions of doing the mod with a buddy but became concerned about the internal wiring challenges. So I had a custom shop down in Fort Collins, CO do it for me. (Sangers Cycles). Glad I did because the shop ended up not using the aftermarket wiring harness since all the splice points were at the same length causing too big a clump so he just fabbed a harness with staggered connection points.

The stock windshield does fit with no problem though I only use it on extended rides, like next month's Pacific Coast Highway ride.

I've been looking at the wild1 12" and 14". I read they have 12" pull back (on the 12.5" rise) and 12.5" pull back (on the 14" rise). That seems like quite a bit, almost like the handlebar ends would be facing at you,  but seems to look good from the photos. You guys like the feel of those bars?

One thing that seems nice about that long pull back is that you can angle the bars straight up which looks nice, instead of angling them down to try and get more reach.
