My New CVO Silver/Autum - This thing is a beast!
« on: August 08, 2014, 11:43:58 AM »

I got a 2014 CVO, first CVO I have owned. I have about 3k on it now. It took me awhile to figure things out, a lot of features and gizmos. Everything worked however. Being an ex motocross rider started in the mid 70's I am really particular on the ride and suspension. My 07 Dresser had all Progressive suspension. BTW that is a great add in to the stop suspension. The front shock on the CVO seems stiffer than stock but the rebounding is still to fast. It needs to be a little slower. But who am I anyway!
My Ol'lady and I both thought it was to quiet so we put a D&D fatcat on it 2 into 1 and a ghost pipe. Now even the semi trucks hear me coming. I love it.
Being in South Florida, all Straight concrete for miles this bike commands the road like no other. I can cruise at 80+mph and get to 100 in a flick of the throttle. I am looking at putting a S&S Gearcam in it 573 is what I am looking at. I had a 511 in my 07 with a 103 upgrade and put 80K miles plus on it no problems. I also have been looking at the Dynojet PV2 to tune the bike. Harley and there Dyno are not very good tuners down here.

Happy Harley Rider!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats.   Love mine too.   Question.  Why change cams ?   You said 80 to 100 in flick of wrist which is nice.   What would cams do different ? B

Thanx all for the Congrats. Here are pics.. I upgraded the air cleaner it looked cool. Don't have recent pics maybe today.
Going to a HOG event love to ride this thing.
I would like a cam in the bike, The sound at idle and the gear cams rolling is nice, people hear the bike has a little go go

Hope everyone will be safe returning from Sturgis, 75th 2015 is gonna be crazy!

Nice Looking Bike! Is your seat stock or did you upgrade? If so, what did you install and how do you like it? Thank You

My 14 has more power than my 10 did (stock or with the same mod's)..   It just accelerates.
