ALL CVO110 engines have the 255 cams, regardless of wet or dry heads.  I think the confusion comes from the changes Harley mentioned last year on the non-CVO wet heads.  Those have a different cam profile and higher compression than their dry counterparts.

Thanks, that is what I thought, but wanted to make sure I was not wrong.

I asked about the cam on a different thread too. MoCo 2015 advertising states it is a "redesigned cam" so it leads you in that direction. Some of the Pro's on here quickly answered that it is still the 255 by the parts books.

For the record it is also a 255 by the one that I removed from a bike last night :)

Still need more "real" changes before I trade-in my 13.  The new ones are still hot and just an EPA game.

Someone asked about riding in traffic. I ride mine to work every day (Downtown Atlanta) and yes just sitting there it gets hot. It is not any hotter than my previous Ultra or CVO  nor is it cooler. I had both of those old ones tuned and so far I have only put new mufflers on the 2014 CVO. The air coming from the vents is hot so depending on where your highway pegs are you may feel that as well. I didn't expect the bike to be cooler so I am Ok with all this. I expect that with more heat being taken from the engine overall it should last even longer. I do notice that rear engine shut off starts earlier on the 2014. That is a bit of a pain. I am planning on adding an oil cooler to help as well.

That's because the Twin Cooled bikes use ambient temperature to trigger the EITMS, not engine temperature.  When the ambient temps are above 80°F, the EITMS will be triggered.

Our 2014 FLHTKSE is much cooler than our 2010 FLHTK. The twin cool is definitely an improvement with no sacrifice to the look of the bike. The EIMTS change is NOT an improvement. It kicks in all the time at idle (above 80F) and it makes the idling real rough on the 110. It was hard to notice on the 103. I turned it off since the water cooling is doing such a good job now.
