John Preston - former Bushtec owner has died
« on: August 22, 2014, 05:49:58 AM »

I know many of us have Bushtec trailers and have known its former owner, John Preston.  I am sad to report the news of John's death earlier this week due to cancer.  John and the whole Preston family  are great friends to motorcyclists and his contribution in providing world class trailers and accessories is greatly appreciated.  He is survived by his wife, Sally, two sons - Andrew and Lewis, and several grandchildren.

Thanks for letting us know, Jerry...

Condolences to the family on John's passing.  God Bless...

I purchased my Bushtec from John and found him to be a pleasure to do business with.  I've put many thousands of trouble free miles on my Bushtec trailer and enjoy it immensely.  John Preston and his family made a great contribution to our motorcycle community.

Sad news indeed.  It was an honor to have known John and his family.  I've lost touch over the last few years but still remember him fondly.  He sold me my first Bushtec in 1994 at the Sturgis rally, installed it in about 3 hours and home I went.  After two more, spread out over the years, John always called me by name even if we hadn't seen each other in a while.  He will be missed....

Sorry to hear condolences to the family. John was a great guy, I cannot think of one time that he ever failed to take my call or answer a question via e mail. He will be missed

RIP
